Let go and move on

In my quest to nurture and resurrect plants that were attacked, l realised that no matter what l do there was no change and it was painful to let go or to uproot these plants. However, it was time to let go . l had to make that decision despite being hard and painful. It was necessary to uproot them. Some of the plants were affected by weather conditions, some were infested by pests and dried out . Some had a disease that had the potential to spread to the good ones. These plants could not be fixed and needed removing or risk loosing everything. It was time to let go of the dead, mourn and move on.

Sometimes in life we go through a lot that takes away from us, whether it’s wrong decisions, having toxic relationships. In some cases it’s the good that has served it’s purpose and carrying it forward to our next level of purpose may be a danger or prove to be toxic. In some cases, communication is key especially where good relationships once existed, they may want to go with you if they understood where you are heading to.

We have to learn to discern and know what season we are in. What we need and how can we maximise what we have. At the same time, where do we need to shift positions or what should we get rid of to be more productive. The bible talks about pruning Luke15:2, every branch in me that does not bear fruit He prunes in order for me to produce more. It is crucial to know the timings too when to do that, we do not want do it prematurely or leaving it till late, we need to understand the times and know what to do.
