Is it a heart issue or a power issue

When you are in position of power or authority or have an opportunity to mentor or lead, never treat a person you are mentoring like a project.

They are not your project, they are God’s people and you have been given an opportunity to grow and consider it privileged.

Don’t forfeit your calling by taking God’s people entrusted to you for a season by treating them like projects.

Always remember that a setback/ or weakness of mentee is not the final destination. You do not make, control or change anything, you are an instrument God is using. Use your position wisely, leave room for God . Place value always.

Treat people first as humans not projects, you are serving and remember that God does not always reveal the full picture to you about someone else, only what is relevant and within your capacity to help.

You might meet someone at a different stage of life and until that person tells you the full story you have no idea where they are coming from or going so get rid of petty assumptions and do the work assigned to you with grace and humility. Be willing and prepare to get your hands dirty.
